Aprilia RSV4 Factory on sale in July

And pre-order for more goodies

Max Biaggi and Shinya Nakano are certainly enjoying the ride, and now it's your turn.

In what is one of the most anticipated releases of 2009, the 'Factory' version of Aprilia's all-new V-four world superbike machine will go on sale in Australia this July for $31,198 (plus ORC) complete with a posse of sweeteners for those who pre-order.

The Factory is quite a piece of kit, with the 65-degree V-four featuring variable intake trumpets, adjustable ignition mapping and ride-by-wire technology, producing a claimed 179hp at 12,500rpm and 115Nm at 10,00rpm.

There is a twin-beam aluminium frame, forged aluminium-alloy wheels, Brembo monobloc radial brakes, and Ohlins suspension front and rear.

Dry weight is 179kg for the homologated version of the world superbike machines ridden by Biaggi and Nakano.

Biaggi has been in exceptional form on the new bike, finishing with a pair of third places at round two in Qatar.

Customers who place an order for an RSV4 Factory before May 30 will receive a one-day track ride experience, a set of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres, a selection of Agip lubricants, and three goodies from Aprilia -- a bike cover, bike stand and merchandise.
