Aprilia has unveiled a limited-edition RS 660 celebrating Phillip Island and the Italian manufacturer’s racing success at the Australian circuit, which is set to leave the MotoGP calendar after the 2026 season.
The Aprilia RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute features exclusive graphics inspired by the circuit’s colours and layout, along with a standard passenger seat cover. It will be displayed at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan from November 5-8, 2026.
The special edition commemorates Aprilia’s record at Phillip Island, where the manufacturer has claimed 10 victories across the various classes of the MotoGP World Championship, as well as further success in the World Superbike Championship with its RSV4.
Raúl Fernández’s MotoGP victory at the circuit in 2025 was particularly significant, taking Aprilia to 300 wins in World Championship motorcycle racing.

The tribute model features a predominantly white finish, with green bodywork on the sides and tail section, complemented by red wheel rims. The circuit’s outline and name appear on the side panels, while a tank badge records Aprilia’s victories at Phillip Island. Each motorcycle also carries an individual serial number on its steering head plate.
Beneath the special livery, the bike retains the existing RS 660’s mechanical package, with no performance changes announced for the tribute edition.
The middleweight sportsbike is powered by a 659cc parallel-twin engine producing 105hp (78kW) at 10,400rpm and 70Nm of torque at 8400rpm. A 35kW restricted version is also available for eligible learner riders.

Its electronics package includes traction control, wheelie control, engine braking adjustment, cornering ABS and selectable engine maps, supported by a six-axis inertial measurement unit. Launch control, a bidirectional quickshifter and cruise control are also standard equipment.
The RS 660 uses an aluminium frame with the engine serving as a stressed member, reflecting Aprilia’s focus on keeping the motorcycle compact and lightweight.
While the Phillip Island Tribute is primarily a cosmetic celebration rather than a mechanical upgrade, its release comes at a significant time for Australian motorcycle racing. Phillip Island hosted its final MotoGP round in 2026 after almost three decades on the championship calendar, with the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix moving to Adelaide from 2027.
Aprilia has not announced Australian pricing, availability or the production number for the limited-edition RS 660 Phillip Island Tribute. The standard Aprilia RS 660 is currently priced at $23,090 ride away.
