Aprilia has revealed pricing for its new LAMS-approved RS 457 sportsbike, which is due to hit Australian shores in August 2024.
With a starting price tag of $12,540 ride away, the Italian company hopes the RS 457 will provide a strong entry point for younger motorcyclists.
The bike is powered by a twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine and rolls on an alloy frame. It also comes with a full electronics package, including ride-by-wire throttle, adjustable traction control, and three ride modes.
Other notable features include a five-inch TFT display, full LED lighting, ByBre brakes, pre-load adjustable suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, and two-channel ABS.
Aprilia claims a 175kg wet weight and a max power figure of 35kW, placing it on par with the much cheaper, but less electronically equipped CFMOTO 450SR.
There is also a RS 457 Replica version, which checks in at $12,940 ride away.
