Aprilia Dorsoduro Factory on sale in June

Higher spec running gear for even more potentcy

Aprilia's souped-up version of its Dorsoduro, the Dorsoduro Factory, will go on sale in June for $16,490.

The Factory, first shown at last year's EICMA show in Milan, has the same 90-degree ride-by-wire V-twin as the standard Dorsoduro (which retails for $14,990), producing 92hp and 82Nm, leaving the real giddy-up factor in the hands of the updated chassis, suspension and brakes.

The Factory has Sachs suspension: fully adjustable 43mm upside-down shocks and a gas-operated lateral piggyback shock absorber pivoting directly to the swingarm in a cantilever set-up.

Aprilia has stuck trick Brembo four-pot radial mount calipers to the front end, complete with ultra-trendy 320mm wave discs. There is also a wave disc on the rear, with braided brake lines at both ends.

In concert with other carbon-clad 'Factory' models from Aprilia, the bike gets a carbon front mudguard and tank section.

Contact you local Aprilia dealer for more information and to organise a test ride.
