Called the MRX, the machine is based around a Hyosung 650 V-twin, with wheels and brakes from the same source, all of which is attached to the American firm's own frame and bodywork. The latter was designed by Glynn Kerr, who writes a column on styling for Australian Motorcycle News.
The frame is a three-piece cast aluminium structure, matched to a two-piece alloy swingarm. Front suspension is an upside-down package (probably from Hyosung), while the rear is handled by Ohlins. If you're keen, you can order alternative brake and suspension packages, along with more exotic bodywork and a variety of performance upgrades.
The company promises red hot handling and lively performance in stock form, and has priced the machine at what seems like a very reasonable US$7995 (AUD$10,500). See www.fischer1.com.
