A new farm quad has joined Suzuki's ATV range, and the marque says the all-new KingQuad 500AXi 4x4 has been "purpose-built to withstand tough Australian conditions". Powered by a 493cc, fuel-injected, four-valve, liquid-cooled, SOHC, single-cylinder engine, the quad features a torque-sensing limited-slip differential, plus a 'QuadMatic' CVT-type auto transmission.
An electronic drive mode selector allows the rider to choose from a wide range settings to suit the conditions and task at hand, while an advanced engine braking system limits 'freewheeling' on descents, backed up by twin front hydraulic and rear sealed multi-disc brakes. All four shocks offer a choice of five different preload settings.
Comprehensive LCD digital instrumentation puts a wealth of information at the rider's fingertips, while the model's practicality is boosted by a a tow hitch, a 12-volt accessory outlet and two large storage compartments.
Suzuki's General Manager, Perry Morrison, said the new model draws upon 25 years of Suzuki quad experience. "The all-new KingQuad 500AXi 4x4 is the latest in a long list of Suzuki farm ATVs developed to provide outstanding quality, performance and value for money," he said.
The new KingQuad 500AXi 4x4 is available in Flame Red for $11,790 plus dealer and statutory charges, and it comes with a 12-month warranty. A KingQuad 500AXi 4x4 Power Steering model is also available.
