Honda has revealed an all-new adventure sport model based on the popular Africa Twin. The all-new 2022 Honda NT1100 blends long-range comfort with sporty performance, while adding a wide array of electronic tech features.
Utilising a retuned version of the Africa Twin’s 1048cc SOCH 8-valve parallel twin engine and its steel semi-double cradle frame and bolt-on sub frame, the new Honda NT1100 is designed as an all-round sporty and comfortable motorcycle.

The NT1100 features upper and lower wind deflectors, a five-stage adjustable windscreen, a comfortable 820mm seat height, cruise control and heated grips.
Also featured is a 6.5-inch TFT screen that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The TFT is complimented by a standard accessory socket, USB socket and, of course, Bluetooth. There is also three ride modes, with Urban, Rain and Tour offering different settings, while users can add up to two custom ride modes.
To separate itself from the Africa Twin, the NT1100 features more sports-orientated suspension compared to the Twin’s off-road setup. The 45mm Showa fork is adjustable for spring preload and rebound damping, while the Showa rear shock is also adjustable.
Like the Africa Twin, the NT110 comes in a traditional 6-speed manual, as well as a 6-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) version.
Both versions of the new Honda NT1100 are expected to arrive in Australia in the second quarter of 2022, with pricing to be announced closer to the release date.
