Akrapovic Harley-Davidson range

The Slovenian manufacturer, best known for its sportsbike range of exhausts, has now created a premium range for Harley, with models such as the Fat Boy catered for

Akrapovic has launched an aftermarket range of exhaust systems for Harley-Davidson at Daytona Bike Week, claiming weight gains of up to 12kg and torque increases of 8Nm in the mid-range.

The pipes, which will suit models including the Fat Boy, Electra Glide, Switchback and Road King, are available in chrome or black-coated versions. All of the ‘open-line’ (full) exhaust systems include headers, mufflers and heat shields, while an optional noise reduction insert is also available for those times when a Harley-Davidson rider wants to be a bit more conservative.

The Australia importer for Akrapovic is the Melbourne-based Gas Imports, www.gasimports.com.au, info@gasimports.com.au.
