A dedicated Bluetooth communication system has just launched for AGV’s most popular helmets.
The ARK set-up was developed in partnership with helmet comms specialist Sena and is compatible with the AX9 adventure lids, the K5-S sports range and the Sport Modular touring helmets.
AGV has developed a $399 generic main unit which is can be used on any of the above helmets. Default features include the ability to set up an intercom channel including three other Bluetooth headset-equipped riders, an inbuilt FM radio, the latest Bl;uetooth software, background noise control, and up to 10 hours of talking time.

Base plates to secure the system to the helmets cost $30 and are model-specific.
Riders who insist on keeping their hands on the bars can drop another $149 for a handlebar-mounted remote control.
During the launch phase, riders can do “combo deals” packaging the helmet and ARK unit for a special price.
