Ago rides again!

GP legend Giacomo Agostini to ride exclusive MV Agusta Superveloce AGO in parade lap at MotoGP’s Misano round

Race fans attending the Nolan Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna Grand Prix are in for a treat tomorrow (Saturday, October 23), when they’ll witness legendary GP rider Giacomo Agostini take to the flowing Misano circuit aboard the new MV Agusta Superveloce AGO.

The parade lap will be conducted together with MV Agusta Forward Racing Moto2 rider Simone Corsi, and will showcase MV Agusta’s latest limited-edition model before an adoring crowd at the iconic circuit.

While full details of the new model will be released shortly, both MV Agusta Moto2 race bikes will share the same Ago-inspired livery at Round 16 of the 2021 MotoGP World Championship.

MV Agusta says a total of 311 examples of the MV Agusta Superveloce AGO will be produced, marking the same number of race wins accrued by Agostini over his glittering career, while the first 15 bikes will be dedicated to each of his world titles – a record that stands to this day.
