Buyers of Husqvarna’s Nuda 900 and Nuda 900 R streetfighters will now benefit from the addition of ABS, which was recently introduced as a standard feature on both Nuda models.
The bikes now have the latest Bosch 9MP ABS system, which adds just one extra kilo to the models’ overall weight and utilises dual feedback channels and the latest ABS technology to deliver enhanced braking feel and traction while preventing wheel lock-ups.
The system is also switchable, meaning it can be turned off (desirable, for example, on a dirt road) and its addition hasn’t impacted the bikes’ pricing – the Nuda 900 is still $13,995 (plus on-roads) and the Nuda 900 R is still $15,995 (plus on-roads).
As an incentive to clear remaining stock of non-ABS Nuda models, the non-ABS Nuda 900 is being offered with a Touring Kit – valued at $1927.65 – at no extra cost. The Touring Kit comprises a windscreen, tankbag, comfort seat and hard panniers. The non-ABS Nuda 900 R meanwhile is being offered with a Racing Appeal Kit – valued at $1103.95 – at no extra cost. The Racing Appeal Kit comprises a black/white flat seat, a carbon front fairing, a carbon airbox cover and a carbon front guard.
The ABS-equipped Nuda 900 and Nuda 900 R are available now through Husqvarna Motorcycles' national dealer network. For more information visit www.husqvarnamotorcycles.com.au
