The prize pool for the inaugural Kawasaki Insurances FX 300 Ninja Cup, to be staged alongside the 2014 FX Australian Superbike Championship, has swelled to a total value of over $35,000, with Kawasaki Australia recently adding further incentive by stumping up two new motorcycles.
The outright winner of the category will take home a brand new Ninja ZX-6R, worth $14,999 (plus on-roads), providing him (or her) with the perfect stepping stone to the Supersport category.
The winner of the Under 21 sub-category will score a new Kawasaki Ninja 300, worth $6199 (plus on-roads), while the winner of the Ladies sub-category will take home an award worth nearly $5000, comprising a 2015 FX Australian Superbike Championship entry fee pack valued at $3000, Dunlop tyres to the value of $1500, and a Bell RS-1 helmet valued at $469.
The Ninja ZX-6R is up for grabs across all three sub-categories, meaning that if the Under 21 winner is also the outright winner, they’ll be walking away with two new motorcycles.
The Kawasaki Insurances FX 300 Ninja Cup is an entry-level, one-make class open to privateer riders. The seed category promises to be an action-packed affair, and it will be televised on SBS TV and Fox’s Speed TV.
Other prizes include additional entry fee packages for the 2015 FX Australian Superbike Championship.
