The latest iteration of KTM’s 50 SX Factory Edition will go on sale locally in September 2022.
Based on the standard 50 SX from KTM, the Factory Edition – which first went on sale in 2021 after a much-hyped launch at the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship the previous year – then goes to another level in terms of racing DNA and aesthetics with high-end componentry including an FMF silencer, orange gripper seat, CNC-machined clutch and ignition covers, ODI grips and Dunlop Geomax tyres.
The 2023 model has new factory-inspired graphics and, in a nod to performance, reworked jetting and a smaller rear sprocket.

Both the 50 SX and KTM 50 SX Factory Edition share WP suspension, Formula brakes, wave discs, and a single-cylinder automatic engine with a centrifugal clutch.
Suspension travel for the pair is generous – 205mm at the front and 185mm at the rear – and there’s 252mm of ground clearance for when the performance boundaries are pushed.
The 2023 50 SX is now on sale for $6214, and the 50 SX Factory Edition will be $6699 when it hits dealer floors in a couple of months.
KTM also has the 50 SX Mini in its range, with the entry-level machine retailing for $5244.
