Sherco has sharpened its 2022 enduro range with higher-spec KYB suspension for its entry-level ‘Racing’ models to match the French company’s flagship ‘Factory’ line-up.
The 2022 Racing range – the 250 SE and 300 SE two-strokes and the 300 SEF four-stroke – feature a fully-adjustable KYB open-cartridge fork paired with the same KYB monoshock as the Factory machines. The KYB front and rear suspension replaces a setup from WP – an Austrian suspension brand owned by KTM.
Other key updates to the 2022 Racing range include a new graphics kit with in-mold technology, new handlebar grips, and new Brembo brake pads for more progressive engagement, according to Sherco.
Standard highlights on the Racing models include a black comfort seat, black frame guards, black Excel rims and Michelin tyres.
The 2022 Factory flagship range, meanwhile, is distinguished by its KYB closed-cartridge fork, 6mm AXP skid plate, Galfer front disc, expansion tank and radiator fan.
There are seven models in the 2022 range: four four-strokes offerings (250 SEF, 300 SEF, 450 SEF and 500 SEF) and three two-strokes (125 SE, 250 SE and 300 SE).
The 125 SE has now been fitted with an electronic power valve to align it with its larger-capacity two-stroke siblings, while updates across the entire Factory range similarly include a new graphics kit; a diamond-pattern grey Selle Dalla Valle seat; Brembo brake pads, and a new Neken handlebar pad.
Furthermore, the 450 and 500 four-strokes receive a lightweight Akrapovic exhaust; a new crankshaft and larger bearings; revised ignition mapping and enhanced cooling via tweaks to the cylinder head.
Pricing for all the 2022 Sherco range has yet to be announced, with Factory models beginning to arrive from mid-July and the Racing models from September.
