KTM has ripped the covers off its 2022 KTM 890 Duke GP, which sees a striking racing-inspired colour scheme applied to the brand’s performance-oriented middleweight.
The cosmetic upgrade, which sees the model continue mechanically unchanged, will be available alongside the existing 890 Duke and up-spec 890 Duke R, with KTM Australia expecting the model to arrive in Australian dealerships from June onwards.
But the KTM 890 Duke GP is not a limited-edition model, with KTM Australia saying it will essentially go on to replace the standard 890 Duke, bar a handful of the latter that are slated to come to Australia in 2022.
The 2022 KTM 890 Duke GP will be priced at $17,120 ride away, while the 2022 KTM 890 Duke is $16,850 ride away and the 2022 890 Duke R is $19,840 ride away.

The KTM 890 Duke GP features a sharp orange and black scheme with R-style orange wheels and an orange pillion seat. The model also features the KTM tagline, ‘Ready to Race’ at the base of its fuel tank, along with decals from corporate partners Motorex, Pankl, and WP (also a KTM subsidiary).
As such, the model continues to be powered by an 889cc, eight-valve, DOHC, ‘LC8’ parallel-twin engine, said to produce peak outputs of 115hp (84.6kW) and 92Nm, in a lightweight package tipping the scales at a claimed 169kg (dry).
A light and nimble package born to carve corners, KTM says the 890 Duke GP is made for riders who “relish fast country roads”, the bike striking “the ideal balance between high performance and agility, with real-world riding demands and usability”.
The bike rides on WP Apex suspension and comes with a sophisticated package of electronics, with features including three ride modes (plus an optional Track mode), customisable traction control settings, cornering ABS, Supermoto ABS, wheelie control, TFT instrumentation and LED lighting.
KTM will offer a range of quality KTM PowerParts components and accessories for the 890 Duke GP.
