2022 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO and Scrambler Urban Motard unveiled

The Italian maker has added to its ‘Land of Joy’ yet again, revealing two new Scrambler models

The new Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO and Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard are the two latest models to be added to Ducati’s Scrambler family, with the latest additions unveiled in the second instalment of the brand’s Ducati World Premiere 2022 showcase.

Ducati says the new Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO “pays homage to the history of the air-cooled twin-cylinder engine, 50 years after it was first introduced on a Ducati” with its ‘Giallo Ocra’ yellow livery, its ‘70s Ducati logo, black-spoked wheels, round mirrors and brown seat with dedicated stitching.

Beneath the styling, the bike is mechanically unchanged from the rest of the Scrambler 1100 PRO family, with a 1079cc L-twin that produces maximum outputs of 86hp (63.3kW) at 7500rpm and 90Nm at 4750rpm.

Other notable features include a choice of three ride modes, each with different power modes and traction control settings, and an LED headlight.

Meanwhile, the new Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard has been created “to experience the city environment by making itself noticed through a combination of style, sportiness and fun”.

The fresh styling sees a livery of Star White Silk and Ducati GP ’19 Red combine with “energetic graphics” said to be “inspired by the world of street art and metropolitan graffiti”.

Featuring 17-inch spoked rims, a high front guard, a flat bench seat and side number plates, the Ducati Scrambler Uban Motard is powered by an 803cc L-twin that produced a claimed 73hp (53.7kW) at 8250rpm and 66Nm at 5750rpm.

The model is also equipped with an LED headlight and an LED taillight.

Pricing and availability

The full Ducati Scrambler family now features cornering ABS and comes with an underseat USB outlet, while the bikes can be complemented by the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), allowing owners to utilise a partner smartphone app via Bluetooth.

Both new Scrambler models are expected to reach Australian dealerships in the second quarter of 2022, with the Scrambler Tribute 1100 PRO priced at $21,300 ride away and the Scrambler Urban Motard priced at $18,900 ride away.
