Honda has announced details of its 2021 Honda GL1800 Gold Wing and 2021 Honda GL1800 Gold Wing Tour.
Both variants of Honda's heavyweight touring flagship receive upgraded audio with new lightweight speakers, along with new colour schemes: Pearl Deep Mud Grey for the Gold Wing and a choice of Gunmetal Black Metallic or Candy Ardent Red (Dual Clutch Transmission only) for the Gold Wing Tour.
The 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour also scores extra luggage capacity, its topbox growing in volume by 11 litres to 61 litres, along with revised seating – the variant now has a suede/synthetic leather seat cover, while the pillion backrest adopts a more relaxed angle.

Otherwise the Gold Wing remains unchanged. Both variants are powered by an 1833cc horizontally opposed flat six-cylinder engine, producing peak outputs of 126hp (93kW) at 5500rpm and 170Nm at 4500rpm.
That significant grunt is relayed to the rear wheel via either a six-speed manual transmission or seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), along with shaft final drive.
An electric reverse gear is provided and for good reason – the 2021 Honda Gold Wing weighs in from 365kg (wet) for the base model, up to 383kg (wet) for the Gold Wing Tour with DCT and air bag.
The announcement of the 2021 Honda Gold Wing complete the rollout of the firm's 2021 model range, which the company says boasts no fewer than 24 new or revised models.
