The 2021 CFMoto 650MT adventure tourer is now available in Australia with a bargain price tag of $7490 ride away. The 2021 iteration of the learner-friendly adventure tourer comes with two new colour schemes and an extended three-year warranty.
Powered by CFMoto’s proven 649cc parallel twin, the CFMoto 650MT provides a LAMS-approved dual sport experience, while not skipping out on performance and technology.
The engine, which also features in CFMoto’s 650NK and 650GT, produces 41.5kw (55hp) at 9500rpm, and 62Nm of torque at 7000rpm.

As well as a torquey and usable engine, the CFMoto 650MT also features Bosch fuel injection with twin 36mm throttle bodies and a single injector per cylinder.
Elsewhere, the 650MT has an upside down fork and cantilever monoshock, which offer 140mm and 145mm of travel respectively, as well as twin 300mm J.Juan front discs and a 240mm single rear disc. The bike also features Continental ABS as standard.
CFMoto claims the 18-litre fuel tank will provide around 400km of range, while an adjustable windscreen, engine crash bars, pannier frames, USB charging point, and full LED lighting all contribute to the bikes adventure capability.
The 650MT was introduced in 2016 and features a sharp KISKA design by the same design house responsible for the aesthetic of multiple KTM models. The bike has been a strong seller for CFMoto’s Australian arm, with director Michael Poynton saying: “It strikes a fine balance between exceptional value and versatility.”
