2020 Triumph Tiger 900 pricing announced

The 2020 Triumph Tiger 900 is another entry to the competitive middleweight adventure bike segment

Pricing for the all-new Triumph Tiger 900 range will start at $19,050 plus on-road costs, with the range-topping Tiger 900 Rally Pro checking in at $22,550 (plus ORC).

Replacing the outgoing Tiger 800, the Triumph Tiger 900 offers a larger-capacity engine that provides more torque and more power across the entire rev range. The bike also features a lighter chassis and all-new state-of-the-art electronics.

Announced in December 2019, the new Triumph Tiger 900 comes in four variants. There is also a Tiger 900 GT Low (same price GT) which offers a lower seat height. The Tiger 900 Rally ($20,150 plus ORC) and Tiger 900 Rally Pro ($22,550 ORC) are designed with supreme off-road capability in mind, offering Showa suspension and longer wheel travel.

The off-road minded Rally versions are complete with high-spec Showa suspension

The star attraction of the Tiger 900 platform is the new 900cc, Euro-5 compliant, inline three-cylinder engine. The new powerplant delivers 93.9hp at 8750rpm and 87Nm at 7250rpm.

With a lightweight chassis, the Tiger 900 is actually 5kg lighter than the Tiger 800. The new steel-trellis frame has a modular construction, with a bolt-on aluminium rear-subframe and bolt-on pillion hangers.

All four variants are jam-packed with features including Brembo Stylema monoblock brakes, a 20-litre fuel tank, 7-inch TFT instruments, optimised cornering ABS and traction control, up to six ride modes, cruise control, heated grips, full LED lighting, mobile phone storage and USB charging.

The GT Pro and Rally Pro offer even more premium equipment as standard, including a quickshifter, heated seat and electronic suspension (GT Pro only).

The new Triumph Tiger 900 is currently available in dealerships, but the COVID-19 crisis means there is  limited stock of the GT and Rally versions. Head to triumphmotorcycles.com.au or speak to your local Triumph dealer for more info.
