2020 Triumph Street Triple RS

A new-generation Street Triple RS will be announced on October 7

We’ve been given the first peek at the updated 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS, which will be officially launched on Monday, October 7 and is scheduled for a late 2019 launch in Australia.

There’s a teaser video below, and the only feature that really stands out is a new headlight design. Otherwise, the dark silhouettes are light on detail.

However, there will be a facelift of some sorts – starting with these headlights – and the engine is tipped to be upgraded with the fruits of Triumph’s universally applauded Moto2 collaboration.

We’ve already been told about an updated 765 in-line triple in the form of the limited-edition Daytona, which produces 130hp and 81Nm. The current Street Triple RS’s powerplant is good for 123hp and 77Nm.

Other models tipped to be in the Triumph pipeline over the new model show season include an updated Tiger 800 adventure bike, a Thruxton 1200 Black and a Bobber TFC (Triumph Factory Custom).

We’ll have full details on the 2020 Street Triple RS on October 7.
