The 2020 Suzuki GSX-R1000 is now available in Australia dealerships with a ride away price of $23,990 and 12 months registration.
While not much has changed for 2020, Suzuki has added a bi-directional quickshift system as standard – something that was previously available as an accessory. Also new for 2020 is a set of Bridgestone Battlax Racing Street RS11 tyres, and a new Metallic Triton Blue colour scheme inspired by the Suzuki MotoGP team.

With the most powerful GSX-R engine ever built, the machine produces 148kW at 13,2000 rpm and 117Nm of torque at 10,800 RPM. The engine is packed into a lightweight, twin-spar aluminium perimeter frame.
Also featured are radial-mount Brembo monobloc callipers and discs, as well as the Motion Track Break System which uses an 6-direction inertial measurement unit (IMU) to minimise rear-wheel lift during hard braking situations.
There are also three ride modes available via the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) system, which allows the rider to tailor the bikes performance to their preferences and ability.
