Yamaha’s 2019 YZF-R3 is now available for $6299 plus on-road costs, boasting chassis ergonomic and styling updates.
The machine continues to be powered by a 321cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke parallel twin engine, but the suite of upgrades is impressive – spanning the KYB 37mm upside-down forks, triple clamp, front fairing and screen, reshaped fuel tank and lower handlebars (by 22mm), YZF-R1-inspired dual LED headlights and multi-function LCD instruments.
Fuel tank capacity remains at 14 litres, while Yamaha claims the new fairing and windcsreen combine for an increase of up to 8km/h in top speed.
Other features for the YZF-R3 – part of the five-model YZF family in Australia – includce the steel tubular frame, 10-spoke cast aluminium wheels, 298mm front brake disc and 780mm seat height.
The 2019 YZF-R3 will be available in three liveries: Yamaha Blue, Power Black and Satin Candy Red, and genuine accessories includes titanium exhausts and slip-on mufflers, billet covers, protectors and more.
