2019 SWM SM 500R supermoto

The learner-approved supermoto now has switchable ABS, complete with motocross-like suspension travel

SWM Australia has launched the 2019 model SM 500R supermoto bike, which now has switchable ABS and is Euro 4 compatible.

The 2019 SM 500R comes with the same indicators fitted to the SWM RS enduro models, and there’s also a new seat and fresh graphics.

“The SM 500R is LAMS approved and can definitely be called upon as a reliable commuter,” said brand manager Stephen Tuff. “However, there’s 50 shades of fun to this machine and they can all be found in your application of riding.”

The SM 500R comes with a 12-month/20,000km parts and labour warranty and is priced at $9990 plus on-road costs.
