Honda’s updated 2019 PCX150 is now on sale in Australia for $4499 plus on-road costs.
The company says the SOHC, liquid-cooled two-valve 150cc engine now produces more power at high rpm – without compromising on torque – thanks to a larger airbox, while idle stop technology also remains a selectable option on the PCX150.
The scooter is now fitted with a smart key system, while other features include a new frame, lighter wheels with larger tyres, single-channel (front) ABS, increased under-seat carrying capacity, LCD instruments and LED lights.
According to Honda, “upgraded natural contours and subtle chamfers give an even stronger substance” to the PCX’s styling.
The 2019 PCX150 is available in three colour variants: Pearl Jasmine White, Candy Lustre Red or Matte Techno Silver Metallic.
The PCX150 began life as the PCX125 before a capacity increase (up to 150cc) in 2012.
