
While the biggest news from Harley-Davidson for the 2019 model year is the addition of a 10th Softail – the FXDR 114 – the company has also announced three limited-production Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) motorcycles.
The three models are the CVO Limited, CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide, all featuring advanced technology, exclusive components and the high-performance Milwaukee-Eight 117 and the new Boom! Box GTS infotainment system. The Street Glide and Road Glide start from $50,495, and the Limited is $53,495.

Limited
• New Blaze Red band on engine rocker boxes;
• New Tomahawk front 19-inch and rear 18-inch wheels;
• New Kahuna Collection (Shifter pegs, brake pedal cover, muffler end caps, heated grips and rider and passenger foot boards); and
• New paint options: Auburn Sunglo/Rich Bourbon/Black Hole with Contrast Chrome Tomahawk wheels; Red Pepper/Wineberry/Magnetic Grey with Contrast Anodise Tomahawk wheels; and Magnetic Grey Fade with Contrast Anodise Tomahawk wheels.
Street Glide
• New Blaze Red band on engine rocker boxes;
• New Kahuna Collection with red Bar & Shield inset on some components (shifter pegs, brake pedal cover, muffler end caps, heated grips and rider and passenger boards); and
• New paint options: Charred Steel/Lightning Silver with Contrast Chrome Talon wheels; Wineberry/Black Forest with Contrast Anodise Talon wheels; and Black Forest with Contrast Anodise Talon wheels.

Road Glide
• New Blaze Red band on engine rocker boxes;
• New Fang Front Spoiler is dramatic lower bodywork;
• New Screamin’ Eagle Heavy Breather intake for bold hot-rod style;
• Exclusive Knockout 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel – the only factory-installed 21-inch front wheel offered on a Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycle;
• New paint options: Charred Steel/Lightning Silver/Black Hole with Contrast Chrome Knockout wheels and Bright Chrome covers and exhaust; Red Pepper/Magnetic Grey/Black Hole with Contrast Anodise Knockout wheels; and Mako Shark Fade with Contrast Anodise Knockout wheels.

The Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine has a high-performance camshaft and intake and an elevated compression ratio of 10.2:1. It is good for 166Nm – the FXDR has 160Nm – and is identified by a bright Blaze Red band on the engine rocker boxes.
The new new Boom! Box GTS infotainment system has Apple CarPlay compatibility (when a microphone is in use with optional headsets) and hands-free voice recognition.

The CVO Street Glide has six bi-amped speakers producing 900 watts of total power.
Trike range
The Reflex Linked Brake system for the Tri-Glide Ultra and Freewheeler now also incorporates antilock braking, traction control and drag-torque slip control, while there is now spring preload adjustment.
Genuine accessories
• The seven-inch Daymaker adaptive LED headlight;
• The new Dominion Collection is offered in gloss black anodised and bronze powder-coated base colours and features interchangeable trim pieces in brushed black, bronze powder coated, brushed orange anodised or brushed aluminium that can be added in any combination.
• Screamin' Eagle stage upgrades, including the new 4.5-inch Screamin’ Eagle Muffler for the Sport Glide and timer cover and inserts for the Milwaukee-Eight engine.
• FXRG collection, including Coolcore Cordura panels for improved fit and comfort, triple vent waterproof jackets (in leather or textile fabrics), waterproof overpants, leather jackets, denim riding jeans, helmets and gloves.
