One year after MV Agusta wowed show goers in Milan with its Superveloce concept, the Italian marque used the same show to unveil the much awaited production version set to join the ranks for the 2020 model year.
Built around the F3 800 platform, the triple-cylinder engine is tuned to produce 148hp at 13,000rpm. With its own unique subframe, the Superveloce 800 has slightly more relaxed ergonomics compared to the F3 800, but boasts an eight-level traction control system, cruise control and a bi-directional quickshifter. Electronics can be manipulated either via the full-colour five-inch TFT dash or via an app on your phone thanks to the Bluetooth connectivity.
As well as the standard version, MV Agusta also revealed a high-spec Serie Oro version which uses carbon fibre bodywork, the wheels from last year’s concept version and the firm’s red and silver paintwork along with gold sections of the frame.
A track-only Arrow exhaust also raises the peak horsepower output to 153hp which hits at 13,250rpm. Other design touches carried over from the jaw-dropping 2018 concept are the leather tank strap and a handful of CNC-machined bits and pieces.

Meanwhile, the firm also used the Milan stage to whip the covers off a Brutale 1000-based concept called Rush, with MV Agusta Australia confirming it’s due to hit production lines in the next few months.
Dubbed a maxi-naked by MV and designed around the ‘rush’ of pointing a motorcycle down a quarter-mile drag strip, it’s said to be capable of 208hp in standard road trim and 212hp with the track-only exhaust.
Suspension is looked after by a semi-active Öhlins set-up, braking is by Brembo and there’s a carbon-fibre shroud on the rear wheel which is said to improve aerodynamics. It employs a bi-directional quickshifter, a full-colour TFT dash and, despite taking its inspiration from the drag strip, boasts cornering lights.
