2019 EICMA: CFMoto's e-ATV concept
Quad bike intended to meet zero-emission needsCFMoto unveiled its radical take on the future of ATV motoring with the launch of the Evolution A concept at the 2019 EICMA bike show.
Technical details weren't released but the concept does show the Chinese bike maker is determined to become a high-profile global player.
The release says that, like the car industry, "the powersport industry needs to look at alternative propulsion methods including all electric platforms to provide a zero-emission alternative".
The ATV's power modes and suspension settings can be changed on the move and the bike uses smartphone mirroring to deliver custom displays and navigation.
CFMoto notes that "the Evolution A might be something you would see on the next moon landing, but (it) showcases CFMoto's ability to break the mould by looking beyond traditional concepts and pushing the boundaries in powersport products".
Expect to see one sooner rather than later.
