Two of the most coveted names in motoring, Brough Superior and Aston Martin, have forged a partnership, the first result of which is this futuristic-looking machine which debuted at this year’s EICMA event.
Unable to be registered for the road, the bike features many hallmarks of Aston Martin vehicles, such as the fin which runs from the instruments through to the tail, and the aerodynamic wings which form the machine’s nose.
Specific details are scant, but it’s powered by a turbo-charged V-twin engine that’s good for 180hp – enough for the AMB 001 to achieve the once sought-after 1:1 power-to-weight ratio from a bike which weighs 180kg ready-to-ride.

It employs a double wishbone front end and a monoshock which is mounted underneath the swingarm, while the carbon-fibre bodywork is describes as ‘structural’.
“This is what we believe a cutting-edge motorcycle should be and we are very proud to see the Aston Martin wings on a motorcycle for the first time,” Aston Martin’s Marek Reichman said.
Just 100 examples of the AMB 001 will be produced, and you can pick one up for €108,000 ($A174,000).
