Beta’s 2019 range of EVO trials bikes will go on sale in Australia in December 2018: four two-strokes and a 300cc four-stroke.
The two-strokes will come in 125, 250 and 300cc configurations, as well as a ‘Super Smooth’ SS version of the 300 which has a “softer, more fun-oriented character than its more aggressive counterparts”.
Updates on the two-strokes include revisions to the exhaust port and timing (except for the 125), a new gear selector cam from the earlier Factory models, and a new CDI.
The 300 four-stroke has a new throttle and CDI.
Much of the engineering focus has been directed at the chassis on the 2019 range, with the two and four-stroke models now featuring:
• A new shock absorber geometry;
• A new shock absorber piston;
• New fork oil;
• A wider adjustment range on chain tensioner;
• A rear brake caliper with an ‘anti-vibration’ system; and
• New graphics and colours.
The retail prices in Australia will be as follows:
• EVO 125 $8995;
• EVO 250 $9695;
• EVO 300/300 SS $9995; and
• EVO 300 4T $11,795.
