New look, same pricing for Suzuki's evergreen traillie

Suzuki's 2018 DR-Z400E dirt bike has gone on sale at Suzuki dealerships around the country, with the latest iteration of the popular and road-registrable dirt bike sporting a new look while retaining its predecessor's price.

Suzuki Australia says over 18,000 examples of the bike have been sold here since its introduction in 1999, and it continues to be a top choice for those after anything from a user-friendly trail bike to a capable enduro weapon without the exhaustive maintenance schedule.

Powered by a 398cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valve, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine, the DR-Z400E features electric starting, tool-less air-filter access and multi-function digital instrumentation, the latter including dual trip meters, a clock and a stopwatch function.
