2018 Kawasaki H2 SX SE on sale

$35k for Kawasaki’s supercharged tourer

Kawasaki has released its 2018 Ninja H2 SX SE for sale in Australia with a rideaway price of $34,999. The bike made is global debut during the 2017 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan alongside a standard version, but Kawasaki Australia has announced only the SE variant is available currently in Aussie dealerships.

It’s powered by a 998cc supercharged inline four-cylinder engine, though it employs a different supercharger to the original H2, which is said to produce more appropriate power delivery and emitting less heat for the touring-specific model.

The higher-spec SE model gains launch control, a quickshifter, added side-mounted cornering lights and the brand’s first-ever full-colour TFT instrument panel. The green paint (as well as four extra 4kg) is also exclusive to the SE model.

Both versions boast an IMU-actuated electronics package which includes traction control, cornering ABS, wheel lift control and engine brake control.

Available only from selected Kawasaki dealerships, the aforementioned rideaway price is quoted based on a Sydney city postcode and is likely to change depending on your location.
