To celebrate 25 years of Ducati Monster history – production began on March 5, 1993 – the Bologna-based manufacturer has created the Monster 1200 Anniversary model.
Only 500 units of the nakedbike will be produced, characterised by an exclusive livery featuring the three colours of the Italian flag on the nose fairing, fuel tank and passenger seat cover – inspired by the 2008 Monster S4RS Testastretta Tricolore.

Other distinguishing features are the gold-coloured frame and forged Marchesini wheels, the aluminium brake and clutch levers, and carbon fibre mudguards, keyhole cover and exhaust heat guard.

The bike also comes with a bike cover, decorated with the 25th anniversary logo.
The tubular steel trellis frame and single-sided swing arm are paired with fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, while the brakes are potent Brembo M50 monobloc calipers.
The Monster 1200 Anniversary is equipped with the latest evolution of the Testastretta 11° DS engine, putting out 147hp at 9250 rpm and 124 m at 7750rpm.

The electronics package features three different riding modes, traction control, a bi-directional quickshifter and a TFT instrument panel.
The machine will go on sale in Australia – in limited numbers -- from December 2018, but contact your local Ducati dealer now to place an order.
