2018 CFMoto 650MT

Improvements have focussed on enhanced touring features

The latest instalment of CFMoto’s adventurer, the 650MT, has lobbed in Australia with a focus on rider comfort and enhanced touring features.

Improvements for the $7990 rideaway machine include steel power-coated crash bars, a redesigned windscreen, new side wind deflectors and integrated handguards.

CFMoto’s popular 650cc parallel twin with Bosch fuel injection powers the MT, and stopping power is provided by twin 300mm front discs paired with Juan (Spanish) twin-piston calipers and a single 240mm disc on the rear. Continental ABS is standard issue.

A pair of 41-litre black aluminium panniers ($650) are available as an optional extra, as is a lower 820mm seat ($165). Standard seat height is 840mm.

“We are excited to release the 2018 650MT into the Australian market. It’s a great value bike that’s up for any task, be it touring, commuting or even for those looking to learn to ride,” says CFMoto Australia’s Director Michael Poynton.

Colours are matte grey or blue, and the 650MT comes with a two-year, unlimited-kilometre factory warranty.
