Benelli’s Leoncino Trail will go on sale locally in August 2018, adding another pillar to the Italian company’s ever-expanding portfolio.
Based on the standard Leoncino which Bikesales rode for the first time earlier this year, the Leoncino Trail – designed by Centrostile studio in Pesaro, Italy (the locale where Bikesales will be heading next week to ride the TRK 502X adventure bike) – the Leoncino Trail runs Pirelli Scorpion knobby tyres on spoked rims.
There’s also a larger 19-front wheel, while the rest of the bike is basically straight from the Leoncino handbook: LED lighting, steel trellis chassis tube frame, adjustable suspension and 320mm front disc brakes.

The 500cc parallel-twin engine produces a claimed 47.6hp at 8500rpm, and 45Nm at 5000rpm – and if it exudes a raspy exhaust note like the Leoncino we’ll be happy!
The Leoncino Trail will be available in authorised Benelli dealerships in August 2018 in red, silver or black, and will come standard with a two-year warranty and two-year customer care program for $9590 rideaway.
Meanwhile, the Leoncino Sport is due to arrive at the end of 2018, as well.
