2018 Australian Superbike Championship calendar

Seven rounds, and a new addition to the scene with The Bend Motorsport Park

The all-new The Bend Motorsport Park in Tailem Bend (SA) has been included on the calendar for the 2018 Australian Superbike Championship calendar, announced today.

The Bend, which is still in a construction phase, will host round three from April 19-22, while the championship will also return to Morgan Park (Qld), Wakefield Park Raceway (NSW), Hidden Valley Raceway (NT) and Winton Motor Raceway (Vic).

Sydney Motorsport Park has been dropped from the calendar.

The 2018 calendar is as follows:

  • Rd1, Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, Phillip Island Vic (supports to WorldSBK round), February 22-25
  • Rd2, Wakefield Park Raceway, Goulburn, NSW, March 16-18
  • Rd3, The Bend Motorsport Park, Tailem Bend, SA, April 19-22
  • Rd4, Hidden Valley Raceway, Darwin, NT, June 28-July 1
  • Rd5, Morgan Park Raceway, Warwick, Qld, August 17-19
  • Rd6, Winton Motor Raceway, Winton, Vic, September 7-9
  • Rd7, Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, October 12-14

There will also be a Phillip Island-hosted pre-season test on January 30-31.

Suzuki rider Josh Waters is the reigning Australian superbike champion.
