Valentino Ross’s Yamaha MotoGP bike will be one of the star attractions at the 2017 Sydney Motorcycle Show, which will be held at the International Convention Centre Sydney in Darling Harbour from November 24-26 (Friday to Sunday).
The Italian icon’s machine will take pride of place on the Yamaha Motor Australia stand, which will be a stopover in the VIP Media Walk from 10.00am-12:30pm on Friday.
The show opens to the public at 10.00am on Friday, with consumers invited to join the media walk and be amongst the first in Australia to view new 2018 model motorcycles.
Those new models include the Ducati Panigale V4 S, the KTM, 790 Duke, Multistrada 1260 S, Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak, Ducati Scrambler 1100 S, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continetal GT 650 twins, Harley-Davidson Sport Glide, Yamaha Wolverine X4, MV Agusta Lewis Hamilton Limited Edition F4, Kawasaki Z900RS, Kawasaki Z900RS Café, Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE, Benelli Leoncino, Husqvarna Vitpilen 701/401 and Svartpilen 401.
“This show has something for all ages and all levels of motorcycling. Whether its road, off-road, mini bikes, cruisers, adventurers, side-by-sides, ATVs, scooters, trikes or personal watercraft we are sure you will find a new model perfect to sit under your Christmas tree,” said event organiser Mark Petersen.

Over 120 exhibitors will showcase hundreds of motorcycles and thousands of motorcycle products, filling the entire fourth level of the all-new exhibition space at Darling Harbour,
In addition to the 18,000 square metres of exhibition space, three live entertainment zones will be created providing all-day entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
The ‘Indoor Action Arena’ presented by Bikesales.com.au will feature freestyle motocross demonstrations by Australia's leading FMX team - Showtime FMX. On the ground level, renowned street bike factory stunt rider Dave McKenna and Jack Field on the KTM electric freeride bike will both perform three shows daily.
The outdoor event deck will host Yamaha test rides with scooters and a full mini bike range and Oset electric bikes will have a range of bikes for children and adults to try out.
Young Henry's will present an outdoor bar and cafe including a relaxed chill zone which will feature music and a super screen playing motorcycle related footage during the event.
Robbie Maddison’s waterbike demonstrations on Cockle Bay completes the full program of entertainment.
Twenty unique framed images by two of Australia’s leading action sports photographers Jeff Crow and Greg Smith will complete the 'art showcase'. The images portray key moments in motorcycle racing and can be viewed as part of the display that also includes works by fine pen artist Kris Hartas and elite custom painted helmets by Mark Brown.
For those with no previous experience with a motorcycle, Harley-Davidson will have its unique Jumpstart Rider Experience available to try. Combining a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a specially-designed support stands visitors will get the experience of riding a Harley-Davidson without the fear of tipping over.
Special Guests will appear over the weekend including Dakar Champion Toby Price who will join Robbie Maddison at 1:30pm on Saturday on the KTM stand to meet and greet fans.
