The FIM has released the provisional entry lists for the 2017 Grand Prix World Championship, which can be read here.
From an Australian perspective, the major focus remains on Jack Miller, who will return for a second season on the Marc VDS Racing Team Honda, while Remy Gardner will shift to the Tech 3 Racing team in Moto2 – and will undoubtedly benefit from a full pre-season, which he didn't have the luxury of this season after only joining the title part way through.
While the likes of Miller, Valentino Rossi, Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso will remain with the same teams in 2017, the biggest moves will see Jorge Lorenzo switch from Yamaha to Ducati, Maverick Vinales from Suzuki to Yamaha, and Andrea Iannone from Ducati to Suzuki.
And, only two days after the 2016 MotoGP final round, the MotoGP riders will be back on track on November 15-16 for the start of the 2017 pre-season. And you can catch all the live coverage on Fox Sports.
