BRP has unveiled its 2017 lineup of Can-Am Spyder models at a dealer meeting in Florida, with the highlights including the all-new Spyder F3 Limited and a lower starting price for the base Spyder F3.
The F3 Limited is being billed as the "ultimate for two-up cruising comfort" and has a removable top case with integrated passenger backrest and enough storage for two full-face helmets. The machine also has automatic self-adjusting air suspension, heated grips and footboards, a powerful six-speaker audio system and Garmin Zumo 590 GPS.
Colours are Champagne Metallic or Asphalt Gray Metallic.
The Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited completes the Spyder F3 lineup,” said Anne Bélec, SVP Global Brand, Communications and PAC (Parts, Accessories and Clothing) at BRP. “Along with its enhanced comfort, convenience and entertainment features, it has all of the characteristics that define the Can-Am Spyder F3, including a cruising riding position, muscular design and exclusive UFit system for custom peg and handlebar positions.”
Elsewhere in the range, the Spyder F3-T is aimed at “bagger” enthusiasts who enjoy weekend getaways, while the Spyder F3-S (including the new Daytona 500 Edition) now features a 'Sport' mode for those who want a sportier ride and the ability to perform controlled rear wheel spins.
The top case on the F3 Limited is also available as an optional accessory for the F3-T
Finally, the base Spyder F3 is the most affordable Spyder F3 ever for "people wanting a great sport-focused ride at a lower price".
“The entire Can-Am Spyder lineup is designed for people to unleash their spirit of adventure while enjoying a balance of performance and peace of mind on the open road,” continued Bélec. “The 2017 model lineup is a continuation of that focus, with multiple models that fit all lifestyles, including the new Spyder F3 Limited.”
Australian availability and price for the 2017 Spyder range is yet to be announced.
