2016 Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R6
Price and availability has been announced, including special Yamaha 60th anniversary yellow liveriesYamaha Motor Australia has revealed its 2016 YZF-R1, YZF-R1M and YZF-R6 supersport hardware at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit — venue for this weekend's Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
Yamaha is also offering the R1 and R6 in a 60th anniversary yellow colour scheme. The new 2016 models will also be available in a new Matt Grey and the Team Yamaha Blue and White. And there will be another shipment of the limited production YZF-R1M model in Silver Carbon Blu.
Details of colours, prices and availability are as follows:
2016 YZF-R1
- Team Yamaha Blue and White: $23,999, available first quarter 2016
- Matt Grey: $23,999, available first quarter 2016
- 60th Anniversary Yellow: $24,999, available first quarter 2016
2016 YZF-R1M
- Carbon Race Blue: $31,999, available first quarter 2016
2016 YZF-R6
- 60th Anniversary Yellow: $16,499, available end October 2015
- Matt Grey: $15,999, available January 2016
- Team Yamaha Blue and White: $15,999, available January 2016
