2016 Torino Aviata

A new 250cc café racer, providing yet another option in the burgeoning LAMS market

Torino Motorcycles Australia has launched the Aviata café racer, powered by a 248.9cc V-twin and retailing for $6790 rideaway.

The engine produces 17hp (13kW) at 8000rpm and 19Nm at 6000rpm, pushing through a five-speed transmission and chain final drive.

The LAMS-approved Aviata has a four-piston front brake caliper, braided steel brake lines and adjustable preload on the rear suspension. The company claims miserly fuel consumption of 2.7 litres per 100km.

The seat height is 840mm. The dual seat comes as standard, but a single seat is available as an optional extra.

The wheel sizes are 17 (front) and 15-inch, and the bike's dry weight is 128.5kg.

As well as the Aviata, Torino Australia has a five-scooter range as well as the Veloce cruiser. Visit torinomotorcycles.com.au for more information, as well as the location of your nearest dealer.
