2016 KTM motocross range

The latest tackle has been released in Italy, with the full range to go on sale in Australia by August 2015

KTM has unveeled its 2016 motocross and supercross range, with universal changes across the four-stroke range including a new and lighter arbox, a more compact and lighter starter battery, a new seat, an updated steel frame with more torsional rigidity and  less longitudinal stiffness, weight reduction in the order of 4-5kg, and a 'no dirt' footpeg solution which prevents dirt from blocking the pegs to allow them to move back into position.

The frame is now black again instead of orange, while geometry has also been sharpened with a 0.4-degree steeper steering angle and the wheelbase is now 10mm shorter. The WP monoshock also has a reworked linkage, while the upper triple clamp features a newly developed rubber damping system for the handlebar clamp in order to reduce vibration.

KTM has launched both Euro and US-spec versions of its range, with Australia set to receive the latter. The US line-up has five-speed gearboxes instead of four, and will continue with the 4CS fork instead of a new air-sprung version developed by WP that will be OEM fitment in the Euro models.
