2016 Kawasaki Ninja 300

The latest version of Australia's best-selling motorcycle is now on sale, with updated instrumentation and two new colours. And the 2015 models have dropped in price…

Kawasaki Australia has released the 2016 model Ninja 300, with the anti-lock braking model first up followed by the non-ABS version in the not too distant future.

The ABS 296cc parallel twin will be available in two new colours: Metallic Flat Raw Greystone (special edition) and passion red.

And to coincide with the 2016 release, Kawasaki Australia has dropped the price of the 2015 model Ninja 300s by $500 across the board, putting the base non-ABS model at the same price ($5699) as its direct competitor, the Honda CBR300R. The 2015 ABS SE 30th anniversary model and ABS Special Edition are now $6399, down from $6899.
The Ninja 300 continues to dominate the sales race in Australia with its sharp styling cues, large volume bodywork, performance, dual headlights, minimalist cowl, petal disc brakes and assist and slipper clutch. The backlit instrumentation features a multi-function LCD screen with fuel gauge, dual trip meters, clock and economical riding indicator.
