Honda's updated CBR500R has landed in Australia, and will join the CB500X in Big Red showrooms around the country from April 18, 2016.
Along with the CB500F, which is available now, the trio of 471cc parallel twins have been updated with LED lights front and rear, slightly larger fuel tanks (with hinged caps), adjustable front brake levers, redesigned seats and 'wave'-style ignition keys. There's now preload adjustment on the forks, as well.
There's a shortened muffler for the F and R, replacing the previous chrome unit, which Honda says has an improved note. The engine on those same bikes also get a few bronzed touches, while all three get aluminium die-cast passenger footpegs and transmission tweaks for "improved shifting feel".
Finally, the plastics now possess a more edgier design, and there's less of it.
The CBR500R will retail for $8099, the X for $7999 and the F is $7899.
