Zero Motorcycles Australia has released rideaway pricing on its 2015 range, which will begin to go on sale this month (June 2015). Pricing is as follows:
The model numbers (eg 9.4) are references to the range available on a particular model, and the higher the number the more kilometres are available. In the case of the Zero S, the 9.4 has a claimed range of 182km in the city and the 12.5 has 243km.
The previous importer also offered a 'power tank' accessory for $3690 to increase range again, but the new importer — the NSW-based operation run by Jeff Gleeson — doesn't offer that choice. At least for now.
Zero Motorcycles has revamped its 2015 range with a better fit and finish, increased range, Showa suspension, cast wheels, Pirelli tyres, better mirrors and Bosch anti-lock braking.
Bikesales will be reacquainting itself with the Zero Motorcycles range very soon, which will include the 2015 version of the SR. That model sits at the pointy end of the performance scale in Zero’s line-up, with a 660-amp motor that delivers 144Nm and 67hp at 4000rpm. Click here for our initial SR review.
