2015 Yamaha YZF-R1 launched
The world launch has commenced for the new R1s, including the up-spec 'M' version, at Sydney Motorsport Park, and Aussie journos were the first to hit the track...Bikesales has just returned from Sydney Motorsport Park, where we attended the international launch of the all-new Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R1 M.
Former Aussie superbike champion and world endurance winner Steve Martin was the man tasked with riding the new 200hp rocketships for Bikesales.
Both bikes will go on sale in March 2015, with the YZF-R1 $23,499 and the YZF-R1M $29,999 – plus on-road costs for both.
