2015 Yamaha Bolt and Bolt-R

Next year’s version of the bobber has been announced and, as you’d expect from a model that’s only been in existence for a year, the changes are minimal

The 2015 version of Yamaha’s sharp-looking Bolt cruiser has been announced, with both the standard machine and the up-spec Bolt-R – piggyback shocks and special graphics – receiving a “revised meter for clear visibility in sunlight”.

The Bolt also gets black mirrors, and the rest of the plot remains the same, including the
fuel-injected, four-valve, SOHC V-Star 950 (942cc) engine, two-into-one exhaust, double-cradle steel frame, 41mm fork, 12-spoke cast wheels and 298mm discs at both ends.

Colours will be black and matte silver for the Bolt-R, and red or glacier blue for the Bolt.

No word on availability of the 2015 model from Yamaha Motor Australia.
