The 24th Australian National Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) Rally will be held in Tamworth (NSW) from Friday, February 27 until Sunday, March 1, 2015.
A stone’s throw away from Tamworth’s famous Golden Guitar landmark, the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre will play host to the annual event, which will be attended by H.O.G members from across Australia.
The huge indoor and outdoor centre will host all of the regular activities such as music and entertainment, bike games, a bike show and tattoo competition.
There will also be – in a perfect fit for the location – a rodeo on the Saturday afternoon.
Guided tours will be held around the Tamworth countryside, while the event will culminate with the renowned Thunder Run on Sunday with thousands of Harley-Davidson riders rolling through the city.
2014’s Australian National H.O.G Rally in Cairns was attended by over 1800 riders, with international H.O.G members from New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and England also joining the festivities.
Adam Wright, Director of Marketing for Harley-Davidson Australia commented: “We’re very excited that the H.O.G Rally will be heading to the heart of country and the home of Australian country music for what’s promising to be a barnstormer of a weekend.
“The people of Tamworth are in for a real treat, with a once in a lifetime chance to hear the Harley thunder and watch this very unique spectacle, as thousands of riders rumble through the streets.”
The Australian National H.O.G Rally is open to H.O.G members only, with pre-registration for Tamworth closing on December 1, 2014. For more information on H.O.G, click HERE.
