Harley-Davidson Australia has announced pricing for its 2015 line-up, which is basically the same as 2014 other than a few minor variations.
Rideaway pricing is as follows:
Sportster
Dyna
Softail
Touring
V-Rod
CVO
The Road Glide Special differs from the standard Road Glide – which won’t be sold in Australia – in that it has the Boom! Box 6.5 infotainment system as standard fitment, and other add-ons include enhanced security, the Reflex linked brakes, hand-adjustable rear suspension, factory pinstriping and colour-matched fairing skirt. Other than that, it has all the Project Rushmore features such as the three fairing vents, stiffer 49mm forks, and totally revised and user-friendly dash.
One bike which is new to the Harley-Davidson line-up in 2015 but one that won’t be coming to Australia is the Freewheeler, a ‘hotrod’ trike which is three inches shorter than the more long-haul friendly Tri Glide Ultra.
The Bikesales Network will be riding the 2015 model Harley-Davidsons in California tomorrow, followed by the Project Livewire electric bike on Sunday.
We’ll also be trying out some new Harley-Davidson safety gear, including the Triple Vent System Jacket - developed in conjunction with Project Rushmore - and the FXRG modular helmet, which has a fully retractable chin bar that can be relocated to the back of the helmet.
