2015 Ducati Scrambler

Ducati has officially acknowledged the presence of its new Scrambler by hosting a preview for its factory employees, and now it's heading to World Ducati Week
Stopping the rumour mill dead in its tracks, Ducati has officially unveiled its new Scrambler model – or at least it has to its own employees at its production facility in Bologna, Italy.

Workers arrived at the Ducati factory on Monday, June 9, to a beach-themed carnival atmosphere, with music, surfboards, street food and a bright yellow shipping container in which they were able to take a closer look at the new model.

And now Ducati intends offering also its ‘community’ an exclusive premiere of the prototype Ducati Scrambler with private viewings reserved for Ducatisti at the World Ducati Week 2014 from July 18-20 at Misano.

Ducati has confirmed the Scrambler will be available globally from early 2015.

The Ducati Scrambler pays homage to the original Ducati model of the 1960s and '70s, and represents a minimalist philosophy that gets back to the enjoyment of 'grassroots' motorcycling.

“Non-conformist, accessible and essential, the new Ducati Scrambler is said to represent the perfect combination of the traditional and contemporary, while returning to the pure essence of motorcycling – two wheels, wide handlebars, a simple engine and a lot of fun,” reads the relating company press statement.

Videos related to the project can be viewed at scramblerducati.com and content can be shared using the #scramblerducati hashtag.

Official images of the bike are yet to be released, but Ducati has said it will officially unveil the bike towards the end of this year – most likely at the 100th EICMA motorcycle expo in Milan, scheduled for November 6-9.
