2015 Australian Trial des Nations teams

An unchanged men's line up, and in the women's two out of last year's three riders will return

Motorcycling Australia has announced the men's and women's teams which will represent Australia in the 2015 Trial des Nations, to be held in Tarragona, Spain on September 19-20.

The men's team which finished fourth in the International Trophy (Group B) division in Andorra last year remains unchanged, with Christopher Bayles, Tim Coleman, Kyle Middleton and veteran Colin Zarczynski back on deck, while in the women's it will be Kaitlyn Cummins, Ina Halls and Kristie McKinnon. The only change from 2014 is the addition of Cummins to replace Brooke Lonie.

The team manager in is Phil Whittle, and the two 'minders' are Jono Chellas and Zachary Mularczyk.
“We were so close to finishing on the podium last year in Group B, so hopefully this year will be the year for our men’s team," said Whittle.

“As for the women’s team… Kaitlyn has really stepped up her riding up in the last 12 months which is quite good, so we’ll be looking for her to complement Ina and Kristie.

“If we keep everyone relaxed and focused, everything else will take care of itself; all the riders in the squad have got the ability that is for sure.”
